Above all, Monica believes together, all things are possible.
On her career in Real Estate:
“I actually come from a publishing background, and earned my real estate license after I joined McColly Companies. I believe the fact I’ve always been able to see real estate from the consumer’s point of view, rather than solely as a Realtor, has been the key to my success.”
On the Real Estate Industry:
“I think it’s remarkable to see how far we’ve come with the real estate industry. Before my time, Realtors had to look up listings in a printed ‘listing book’ at the office that had to be manually updated. Then, they had to drive clients to several homes to physically see what the homes looked like, after going to the listing office and picking up a key & then returning it afterwards, so the next agent could show the home.
Today, most consumers look to the internet first to view homes for sale, then schedule a showing request online. Clients even have the opportunity to virtually see the home through a video livestream with the Broker, who can unlock the house via electronic lockbox technology. Contracts and signatures are all done electronically now, from the safety of one’s home. Just in 2020 alone, the real estate technology landscape has changed with agents using Zoom or Google Meet to conduct their business. I’m proud to see how well everyone’s adapted just in the past 10 months.”
