Expand & oversee the Buyside sales team to drive new customer growth while also expanding brand awareness and confidence to support both sales & customer retention efforts.

What Success Looks Like

As the head of Buyside’s sales team, you will develop and execute strategies to drive new customer acquisition, and hire a team to help you reach these goals. You will lead sales efforts by selling the Buyside platform through brokerage, agent, and loan officer channels. You will clearly define Buyside’s brand identity and work across various marketing channels to grow brand awareness and confidence. You will partner closely with our Director of Marketing and our Account Executives, leveraging Buyside’s existing client base to further evangelize the brand and pursue additional revenue opportunities.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Buyside’s sales strategy including market analysis and sizing, product positioning and pricing, sales cycle & methodology, target prospects, etc.
  • Implement and oversee sales plan for small to medium broker (<$1B sales vol) market segment, as well as the possibility of agent & loan officer sales.
  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.
  • Supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs.
  • Hire & train a team of inside & outside sales people for your team. You will be responsible for their coaching & success.
  • Represent the company at various industry events and/or business meetings to promote the company.
  • Recommend and administer policies and procedures to enhance operations.
  • Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Work with department managers and corporate staff to develop one year, two year, and five year business plans for the company.
  • Provide recommendations for improving or adding new product designs and assists with product development and testing.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years in Sales/ 3+ years in management
  • 3+ years of Salesforce Administration experience
