What Success Looks Like

As Customer Support Specialist, you will own to our customers satisfaction with technical problems they may encounter when using our products and services. You will be a champion for their success, partnering with the development team to ensure issues are promptly resolved and helping create an outward reputation of strong customer service. You will help be an eye to proactively escalate concerning issues to Account Managers & executive leadership. You will identify areas of improvement and assist in execution of improved processes. You will be hungry to learn and grow in your career, as Buyside is a growing company looking for rockstars to bring on board to grow with us.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer requests in a timely and accurate way, via phone, email or chat
  • Identify customer needs and help customers use specific features
  • Analyze and report product malfunctions (for example, by testing different scenarios or impersonating users)
  • Resolve data-related issues within our database
  • Provide clients effective workarounds
  • Update our internal databases with information about technical issues and useful discussions with customers
  • Inform management of customer complaints and assist in making it all better
  • Share feature requests with the Product & Account Management teams
  • Inform customers about new features and functionalities
  • Follow up with customers to ensure their technical issues are resolved
  • Gather customer feedback and share with the other teams


  • Experience as a Customer Support Specialist or similar CS role
  • Experience using help desk software and support tools
  • Understanding of how CRM systems work
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Multi-tasking abilities
  • Patience when handling tough cases
  • SQL skills a plus
  • CSS skills a plus
